Bio:

Ango Mustapha (he/him/his)  is a passionate leader and innovator who’s dedicated to empowering communities and driving positive change. With a background in digital product management, entrepreneurship, business and organisational psychology, Ango has a knack for turning ideas into impactful initiatives.

As the Director of Programs at Wunti Al-Khair Foundation, Ango oversees initiatives that focus on health, education, technology, economic empowerment and community development. He’s committed to helping people reach their full potential and create sustainable livelihoods.

Before taking on this role, Ango led the Foundation’s Enterprise and Employability Unit. He designed and implemented programs that equipped individuals with the skills and resources to succeed in the workforce or start their own businesses.

In addition to his role at the Foundation, Ango is the Managing Partner at Yottabit Consulting, where he helps organizations and individuals achieve growth and operational excellence through strategic advisory services.

He is also the Co-Founder of Uplift Hub, a non-profit organization committed to empowering Africans through education, mentorship, and access to quality resources. Uplift Hub fosters a community of changemakers while bridging the gap between talent and opportunity.

He is a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator, a certified Business and Entrepreneurship Coach, and an alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI-RLC). He’s also been recognised for his contributions, receiving the Opportunities Hub 100 Most Influential Young Persons Award in Africa.

A sought-after speaker and thought leader, he delivered a memorable talk at TEDxRandburg in South Africa on “Entrepreneurial DNA: The Genetic Blueprint of African Innovation.” His insights inspired audiences to recognize and harness Africa’s unique potential for groundbreaking innovation.

Beyond his professional achievements, Ango is a creative enthusiast who enjoys art, cloth-making, and podcasting. He is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of leaders, inspiring positive change, and fostering innovation across diverse sectors.

Bio:

Ango Mustapha is a product manager, an instructor, an entrepreneur, and a business growth strategist.

He is passionate about building people through human capital development, developing outstanding products and seamless processes.

He holds an MBA in entrepreneurship and business development and is pursuing his MSc. in business psychology from the University of East London.

He is an AltSchool Africa product management alumni, a certified Microsoft Innovative educator, a certified business and entrepreneurship coach, a YALI (West Africa Regional Leadership Center) alumni, and a 2019 African Young Leadership Fellowship Programme Fellow.

He received the 2021 Opportunities Hub 100 Most Influential Young Person Award in Africa.

When not exploring building a product or business around real-world problems or managing projects, he pursues personal interests in art, public speaking, teaching, cloth making, fashion design, and podcasting.
